Garden Wall
This was quite a task as the access was poor and only micro plant equipment could be used.
The nearest point of access was 100 metres away and was through a large walled and landscaped garden.
All materials were transported to site with a micro high tip dumper, this included the additional 10 tonnes of sandstone blocks, along with all the excavated materials, which had to be removed from site.
A new 1.200mm wide foundation was formed for the wall to be constructed on. The new wall was constructed using traditional lime mortar.
